January 27, 2010 A380 heads to Zurich  Singapore Airlines has announced that it will fly the Airbus A380 superjumbo jet to Zurich from March 28.
The Swiss city would be the third city in Europe and the seventh worldwide to receive the A380 aircraft in its network.
The new A380 service would replace the existing flights, which are operated with smaller Boeing aircraft, it said, adding that the operations were subject to Zurich airport being certified for A380 flights.
Singapore's national carrier currently has 10 A380 superjumbos in service, which it flies to Sydney, London, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong and Melbourne.
