Once you have chosen a tour, read through the booking conditions, complete the Booking Form and send it with your deposit and insurance premium (or details of your existing policy) to our office in Liverpool. If the holiday shows Limited Availability please call us free of charge at 0800 678 5747 (or from the U.S. 800 213 1104) and we will hold an option for you. If it shows Sold Out we will be happy to add you to our waiting list.

There is nowhere quite like Vienna during Advent. The Christmas Markets are full of life, the atmosphere in the streets is festive in a way that doesn't exist in most other capital cities and the concerts & operetta season is in full swing.
Once again we will stay five nights at the Steigenberger Herrenhof Hotel, situated in the heart of the Old City directly behind the Hofburg Palace just five minutes walk from the main Christmas Market at the Rathausplatz, Michaelerplatz and the wonderful shops and lights of Kohlmarkt and Graben. Many other points of interest, including the Spanish Riding School, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Museumsquartier and the Albertina, are only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
The hotel has been voted No. 1 in Vienna by the influential Tripadvisor website and has been built behind the neoclassical facade of the Herrenhof Coffee House. All rooms have luxurious bathroom (with bath or shower), hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, flat-screen television, individual air conditioning, safe, minibar and tea & coffee making facilities. A substantial Buffet Breakfast is included each morning.
During our stay we will have a behind the scenes tour of the magnificent Staatsoper, attend an operetta performance at the Volksoper, a concert at the magnificent Goldensaal of the Musikverein (home of the New Year's Day concerts), have a welcome dinner and our farewell dinner at a traditional 'Heuriger' in Grinzing as well as a full programme of sightseeing and visits to the Christmas Markets at both the Rathausplatz and Schonbrunn.
A full music programme will be available in late April and will be published on our website. Flights are either direct to Bratislava from Liverpool & Birmingham on Ryanair, from Manchester via Zurich with Swiss or direct from Heathrow with BA or Austrian Airlines. |
