Thanks to everyone at Maestro for a wonderful holiday in Italy attending the Opera's and Ballet at Torre Del Lago. The setting is wonderful.
The family run hotel in Montecatini couldn't be better and the late night treats after the opera's added a special flavour.

Thank you to Ken, Brendan, Stacey and everyone else involved in two recent trips.

After the awful weather in England it made me feel guilty to find ourselves in warm, sunny Tenerife in January, hearing the
wonderful Dudamel in that wonderful concert hall (except for the air conditioning!).

Atoned for it somewhat with the even deeper, slushier, icier snow in Berlin in February, but with true Maestro flexibility it was arranged for the coach to take us everywhere door-to-door so we never needed to walk more than the width of a pavement, and Brendan took such good care that we should not fall. The Goetz Friedrich productions were outstanding, Lohengrin in particular being as good as I ever expect to see. (Angela Merkel attended on the same night as we did.) The Komische Oper felt to have more of a family atmosphere in the audience, regular fans who attended everything, and Queen of Spades was enjoyable on its own terms, even though the budget for Lohengrin could perhaps have lasted the Komische Oper all season.

Meanwhile, Ken himself was in
the easten USA blizzards, coping with moving a whole orchestra despite closed airports and railways and snowed-up roads; I hope he has recovered by now - none of the Berlin party ever doubted he would manage it.

Looking forward now to Konstanz, Bilbao, Paris,etc before a 5th anniversary visit to Berlin next year.

We had comfortable hotels and excellent guides in both Moscow and St Petersburg.A wonderful mix of palaces, churches,galleries and a wide variety of concerts.All enhanced by the autumn colours. Many thanks Ken for a golden experience

Thanks to Maestro for excellent Advent tour to Vienna. Evertyting was splendid - travel, transfers, excellent music, great seats, good sightseeing and fine hotel. We will be looking out for future tours.

I have just spent a week in Vienna at the Herrenhof Hotel. The service at this hotel was the best I have ever experienced & the staff couldn't do enough to please me-- this is a rare compliment as I am usually very critical of any hotel!!
The week in Vienna was followed by a week in Bezau- a great rest & I/we hope to come next year for the 3rd time!!

In the Steps of Klimt. Vienna 2008.
A well organised tour in every respect with several memorable moments.
An opportunity to focus on the development of Klimt's style and make comparisons with some contemporary artists in Western Europe.
The whole was complemented by the varied evening concerts.
I'm now looking forward to the Klimt Exhibition in Liverpool

The 'Steps of Chopin' tour was pure delight and so uplifting that I wish I could do it all again in September! Perhaps while you are savouring it all again you may feel inspired to devise another magical tour.

What a week we had in Berlin with a splendid and very moving "Ring". The organisation was superb,hotel food and tours.Can't wait for the next one!

The Copenhagen Ring was an excellent holiday and very well managed.

Thank you for taking such good care of us in Copenhagen. It was a marvellous trip & I enjoyed every single minute of it! Your itineraries really are a joy to read and I can only imagine the research & planning that goes into them.

Many thanks for such a fantastic trip to Copenhagen for the Ring. It was a super holiday, not only the opera but all the other 'extras' that had been planned. It was an added bonus to have the interesting talk before Rheingold and to visit behind the scenes at both the old and new opera houses.

I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the Copenhagen Ring holiday. Everything was so well thought out, a wonderful hotel, delicious meals, excellent outings with a wonderful guide, Manna. It was good to be part of such an interesting and friendly group.

After our lovely 'Steps of Chopin' in September I have had to decide whether to have my bathroom re-vamped or join you for the Ring in Copenhagen - I've chosen to join you on what promises to be another happy trip!

Steps of Chopin really was a magnificent 'Grand Tour' with marvellous music and experiences. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Steps of Chopin, April 2005 - the careful planning of each day, the thoughtful details & information, the little 'extras', the numerous joint meals, the very interesting itineraries for the 'transfer' days, the good quality hotels and (above all) unique special musical 'events' which would just not be possible with a private holiday. All in all a very special experience.

thanks for your excellent organisation during the Steps of Chopin tour. We saw such interesting places and learnt so much - it was clear that a great deal of research had gone into the tour and a few 'strings' had been pulled! The lovely music in such wonderful settings was the icing on the cake.

The 'Steps of Chopin' was a wonderful holiday. Each day was filled with such lovely delights that it is impossible to mention them all here. To spend time in Nohant and visit the 'world' of George Sand was one of many highlights!

Thank you for the arrangements & suggestions for our trip to Warsaw & Krakow. Warsaw was quite a surprise, full of interest and the 'Bristol' was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed Krakow and the Novotel Centrum was excellent. Looking forward to Vienna in December!

The Food and Music holiday based in Znojmo in the Czech Republic was a week of music, wine and food. Several of the concerts were held outdoors in historic courtyards. The vineyards,rolling unspoilt countryside and lack of traffic all helped to make the various outings enjoyable.Thank you Maestro Travel for another great holiday.
